At Serpenti Sei we work on software that inspires us. We make the games we want to play and the apps we want to use.

Serpenti Sei started off as an independent game development company in Bolton Landing NY.  Our first game, Pipe Drop, has been played over 100,000 times since its release in 2011.  We’ve moved to Rome, then Tokyo, then San Francisco, then Osaka and are currently based out of Brattleboro, VT.  Our vision shifted as well as our location, and our time in Japan provided the motivation to build our current app, 909-225-8791.  Nihongo goes well beyond the standard foreign language dictionary app, and includes useful features for the serious learner, such as flashcards, commonality ratings for every word, and clippings, a quick way to look up every word in a piece of text.  Nihongo’s companion app, KanjiKey, is a Japanese keyboard that lets you type kanji by selecting their simpler components.
